Love Compatibility of Virgo with Pisces

Opposites attract, and it doesn’t get more opposite than Virgo and Pisces. You’re nitpicky and disciplined, while Pisces can be scattered and spacey. You’re rational and logical, while Pisces is imaginative and emotional. You may get annoyed at the fact that this Fish isn’t grounded in reality. More often than not, though, a Pisces can teach you how to be more compassionate and caring. You have a lot to teach your Fish, too, and under your guidance, he or she can discover the joys of having a life that’s more organized - even if it’s not as organized as yours

If this doesn’t fit Clint and I to a “T” I don’t know what does!

Back to School September 16, 2006

I’m going back to school. Yep, I’ve picked my graduate school and I’m waiting to be contacted from Baker University. Here’s what I’ve researched about it:

“Baker’s Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) degree is a 36-hour program designed for the practicing classroom teacher who wants to enhance his or her teaching ability and stay abreast of current developments in the field. During this program, you will develop a strong base of relevant knowledge and have numerous opportunities for implementation and reflection.”
Basically I can get my Masters in 18 months, I don’t have to take the GRE (I hate taking Standardized Test), no Thesis (But there is a portfolio, that I can handle), and Baker has been named one of America’s Best Graduate Schools by US News and World Report.
You can’t beat that. There’s a campus in Lee’s Summit just up the road from our house. Accelerated classes meet one night each week or on Saturday mornings during the school year, and either during the day or in the evening for 6 or 7 weeks during the summer. So I can take the classes at my own pace.
I’m super excited and can not wait to get a hold of someone from the college. I filled out the forms I had to on the computer. They said someone would contact me within the next few days.
I love the feeling of going back to school.

Birthday Woot! September 15, 2006

I’m 23 now. What a difference, not really. I still feel the same. I was slightly bummed about my birthday, leading up too it, because Clint works on Wednesday night. However, it turned out to be much better than I thought. At about 3:00 pm Wednesday my mom and grandma showed up at my classroom with cupcakes and juice for all my kids. My students went crazy and we had our own little party. My mother-in-law was waiting for me when I got home from school with dinner. It was rather tasty. I got a few phone calls from my friends, and then started to clean.

Yeah, I know, why was I cleaning on my birthday. Clint and I have been battling a cold since Labor day weekend, and we can’t seem to shake it. I cleaned like I’d never cleaned before. I sprayed EVERYTHING with Lysol, in order to kill whatever germs were hanging around. I watched Monk on DVD while I cleaned so it wasn’t so bad. Clint got home around 9:30 or so, and he had flowers and a card for me. It was really sweet of him!

Saturday will be the official celebration with my family. We are going to a place called Siki’s in Lee’s Summit. It’s a Japanese Steakhouse. They cook right in front of you. I’m excited about that.

I’ve got detentions this morning with two of my students. I’m going to have to help me more desks around.

Fun stuff!!!
