Good Morning everyone!!! Clint and I have made is safely to not only Boston, but to our Hotel as well. We arrived about 5:35pm Eastern Time at the airport. After waiting for a bus to take us to the subway, getting our week passes, and then finally figuring out which train to get on, we got to the hotel about 7.

I have uploaded the pictures that we have so far. Click Here

On Today’s agenda we have the Aquarium and the Imax. We might go to this place called TOMB!!! Check back later for updates!!

We are sitting at the airport, waiting while we drink our beverages from Starbucks. Clint has already burned his mouth from taking a sip in his coffee too soon. Our flight boards at 11:35, and is scheduled to take off at 12:05. So far the rainy weather hasn’t delayed our flight. Let’s hope that it doesn’t.

We have one stop in Milwaukee, but we don’t have to get off the plan (which is nice). We plan on eating on the airplane. If everything goes as plans we will arrive in Boston at 4:55 pm (Eastern Time).

Check my blog often for updates.

War Movie Kick March 7, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — cassiekrause @ 3:42 am

So over the last few days, I have been on a HUGE war movie kick. Not sure why, just one of those things that seem to click every once and awhile. A few weeks ago, I watched movies that had the Catholic Church in it, in some form. The movies I watched them included: The Order, Stigmata, and John Carpenter’s Vampires.

This war movie kick however, seems to be lasting a bit longer. I’ve watched (since Saturday night), We Were Soldiers, Saving Private Ryan, and Flags of our Fathers. I also have Glory waiting for me to watch. I tried to rent Enemy at the Gates, however it was checked out.

I have to admit I did interrupt my war movie marathon with the movie The Departed. I watched that one last night. I really liked that one. It was based in Boston, so that was nice seeing part of the city.

I have class tomorrow night so I will not be able to watch any movies. I’ll be too tired when I get home from class. So my war movie marathon will continue on Thursday with Glory!!!

Sadness 2.28.2007 March 4, 2007

Our dear HamHam died on Feb. 28. She was three years old. Luckily, she was not at school when she died. I had to bring her and CoCo home for a few days. Clint and I buried her outside in the back yard. CoCo is now lonely, and we are not sure if we want to go and get another one. Time will tell.
HamHam was our first pet together, so it really hit us hard. Here are some pictures of my Hammy:

This was taken the day that we got here. 2.13.2004

This was taken on M.L.K Jr. Day a few days after we got CoCo

Here’s another picture of HamHam and CoCo.
